Good News from the Cross World.

A big thanks to all the cross organizers for 2009. MCA had paid the $500 deposit to use city parks (damage deposit). It turns out that there was no damage and MCA got it's deposit back.

DECEMBER ROAD COMMITTEE MEETING

So far there is very little interest in running a meeting. There is an MCA Board meeting on December 16. I am going to set an arbitrary cut off for a meeting of Friday. If you are interested in meeting to discuss scheduling and standards next week please advise on the site. Thanks all.

December Meeting

We need to schedule a December meeting.

I am thinking either week of December 7 or 14, likely the Tuesday or Wed at 530.

If you want to vote please do.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the 2010 plan which includes proposed minimum race standards, race venues etc.

For the December meeting a priority will be scheduling races.

Here we go

So I decided that since I am going to be continuing on as Co-Ordinator for Road at the MCA that I may as well make an attempt to join the 21st century.

To that end I have created this blog. It is NOT an official MCA website.

This blog will exist to make a better effort to communicate the meetings of the committee to MCA members. I will also post the "minutes" of the committee meetings to this site when they are completed, usually after each meeting.

I invite comments from anyone who wants to comment on how to improve road racing in Manitoba.
